COLUMBIA, S.C. (Aug. 17, 2006) – Industrial spectroscopy innovator Ometric Corporation has successfully installed and implemented the first upgrade of its patented SpectrInline Processware™. This upgrade, called SpectrInline Pharma Version 1.1™, is a groundbreaking first-generation implementation of an auto-calibration technology that enables, over periods of time, signal stability that is orders of magnitude greater than that of traditional spectrometers. Pharma Version 1.1 has shown excellent in-line blending results, detecting concentrations of less than 0.25 percent. Pharma Version 1.1 also meets the pharmaceutical industry’s intrinsic safety requirements.
